ANOTHER UNBELIEVABLE FLEA MARKET FIND BY BIRDHOUSE RECORDS !
Found at a flea market by Birdhouse's own E. Pluribus Gergely were
tapes of live concerts made during the early 60's at a Philadelphia nightclub
called Sciolla's.
The tapes were recorded in mono on a reel to reel tape by persons unknown.
Tapes include performances by Johnnie Ray, Bobby Rydell,
Connie Francis, Peggy Womack and Lynn Fader,
all introduced by Master of ceremonies Tony Santoro.

Due to Fats Domino's illness, native Philadelphian Bobby Rydell was called in to perform again at Sciolla's. With only two hours notice, Rydell delivers a terrific performance with the Howie Reynolds Orchestra conducted by Frank Day. |
